Overview

Tremend is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You’ll use your problem solving creativity to figure out our clients’ most complex and challenging problems across different industries. We are on a mission to transform the world, and you will be instrumental in shaping how we do it with your ideas, thoughts, and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Build the ultimate service environment for over 150 developers

• Create and nurture new ways to deliver secure, reliable and highly available, business critical software

• Help us spread the DevOps love and culture throughout the company

• Provide custom solutions for custom projects, as an autonomous engineer and as part of our team

• Build infrastructure as code from the ground-up

• Provide support for our teams and clients

• Be Agile, breathe Agile and discover the fun in Agile

Qualifications:

Ops & Infrastructure

• Advanced Linux setup & operation

• System and network security & incident mitigation

• Distributed file systems: GlusterFS, Ceph

• Caching solutions: Varnish, Redis, Memcache

Provisioning

• Terraform

• Cloud Provider: Azure or AWS or GCP

CI/CD

• SCM: Gitlab, Bitbucket, GitHub

• Any combination of: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Bitbucket pipelines

• Artifact management

• SonarQube

Deployment

• Docker, Docker Compose

• Orchestrators: Kubernetes, Rancher

• CDNs

Monitoring, performance

• ELK stack

• Prometheus

• Grafana, Graphite, stats

Programming

• Bash

• Python

• Basic understanding of how Java/Node.js/Golang/PHP operate

DB

• Setup, operate and troubleshoot SQL (any combination): MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL

• NoSQL (any combination): MongoDB, Couchbase, Redis, Elasticsearch, ArangoDB
