Job Title: Database Architect

Salary Range: $160,000 – $180,000

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and personable Database Architect to join a growing team focused on delivering mainstream, enterprise-grade solutions. This role is critical to building and validating database architectures that support clients across industries such as retail, healthcare, and manufacturing.

You’ll work closely with solution managers, architects, and engineers to design, build, and test database solutions using technologies from leading vendors including Microsoft , Red Hat , SUSE , Cloudera , Oracle , SQL , and MySQL .

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and build enterprise database solutions using mainstream platforms (e.g., Azure, OpenShift, SUSE).

  • Lead solution development from concept to validation, ensuring hardware and software integration.

  • Collaborate with engineers to test and confirm solution functionality.

  • Support sales teams by translating technical solutions into business value—must be able to communicate with charisma and clarity.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years in a dedicated database architecture or solution architect role.

  • Deep expertise in Cloudera , Oracle , SQL , and MySQL .

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft applications , ERP systems , and Azure .

  • Experience with OpenShift and SUSE platforms—installation, configuration, and navigation.

  • Ability to build solutions from scratch and validate them with engineering teams.

  • Consulting background is acceptable.
