Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Database Administrator to join their dynamic team. As a Database Administrator, you will be an integral part of the IT department supporting critical database operations. What's the Job?

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of SQL Server instances, ensuring optimal setup for on-premises and cloud environments.

  • Utilize advanced performance tuning tools to identify bottlenecks and optimize query execution, indexing, and storage strategies.

  • Implement and manage high-availability solutions such as SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, clustering, and replication to ensure data reliability and business continuity.

  • Design and execute backup and recovery strategies, including testing restore procedures to safeguard data assets.

  • Configure security mechanisms to maintain compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies, including encryption and role-based access control.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration, with proficiency in versions such as 2012, 2016, 2019, and SQL Server 2022.

  • Expertise in T-SQL programming and familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), and Analysis Services (SSAS).

  • Experience with cloud-based SQL Server deployments, including Azure SQL Database and Managed Instances, along with hybrid solutions.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex database issues efficiently.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to junior staff.
