About Career Connected Learning PHL:
Career Connected Learning PHL (“C2L-PHL”) is the new initiative for work-based learning and career exploration for Philadelphia residents ages 12-24. The initiative is a streamlined investment between the City of Philadelphia, the School District of Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Works. On behalf of these partners, JEVS Human Services will serve as a Fiscal and Contracting Intermediary responsible for managing and overseeing a large network of youth service providers. Providers will operate year-round work-based learning programs, during the summer and/or school year, for youth and young adults to explore different career paths, gain hands-on experience, and develop essential skills. Activities will include but are not limited to internships, job shadowing, career exploration, professional development, and other experiential learning projects. The primary objectives of C2L-PHL programs are:
Youth are given access and experiences to explore different career paths and fields.
Youth are equipped with the tools and skills they need to explore, set, and achieve career goals.
Youth know how to identify and utilize their strengths and passions to inform career decisions.
The Data & Evaluation Assistant is responsible for data collection and compliance, analysis, and reporting for JEVS Career Connected Learning (C2L) Intermediary Services.
Key goals of the position include:
Inform and implement process to collect, document, and store all necessary clearances for youth and participating employers
Serve as liaison with sub-contracted providers, employers, and youth to ensure completion of clearances and other required program documentation
Administer data collection and evaluation tools to youth and sub-contracted service providers
Compile necessary evaluation & compliance data to prepare for reporting
The Data and Evaluation Assistant collaborates with internal and sub-contracted provider staff and other partners to facilitate the accomplishment of goals.
Responsibilities
In collaboration with internal JEVS team and clearance vendor, develop tools to collect and track youth and employer clearances.
Serve as liaison with youth, employers, and sub-contracted providers to support clearance completion and submission.
Establish collaborative relationships with sub-contracted providers and facilitate group and individual technical assistance to support compliance with data collection and clearance submissions.
Conduct regular audits of data collected to identify gaps and design and install corrective measures in collaboration with providers.
Monitor compliance with local and federal guidelines on youth and employer documentation.
Draft evaluation and compliance reports for internal JEVS team. Support the production of reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
Support the integration of data visualizations into data management and reporting products.
Fluent use of Excel and/or other data collection and tracking tools
Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or others.
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, education, or related field preferred.

The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
