ManpowerGroup Cyber Security Specialist 2 in United States

Our client, a leader in cybersecurity solutions, is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist 2 to join their team. As a Cyber Security Specialist 2, you will be part of the Cybersecurity Department supporting security operations and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist 2

Location: Remote

Pay Range: Fair Market Rate

What's the Job?

  • Identify and resolve highly complex cybersecurity issues to prevent cyber attacks on information systems

  • Design, install, and manage security mechanisms to protect networks and information systems against threats

  • Respond to security incidents, investigate violations, and recommend improvements to security protocols

  • Support security control implementation and evidence collection for RMF steps

  • Assist in automation tool usage for compliance and risk scoring; maintain system security plans and POA&Ms

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or related field

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline

  • Experience with security frameworks, incident response, and risk management

  • Knowledge of security control implementation and continuous monitoring activities

  • Ability to support automation tools and maintain security documentation
