About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Cook (Staff Canteen) position to join our Kitchen Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Prepare, cook, and season meals according to recipes, including washing, chopping, and marinating ingredients as needed.

  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely, ensuring correct cooking temperatures and proper use of ovens, grills, and fryers.

  • Monitor and manage stock levels, document inventory, and notify supervisors of low supplies.

  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness of the kitchen and canteen, including routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team, support daily operations, and report equipment or facility issues for timely resolution

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in preparing, cooking, and seasoning meals in a kitchen or staff canteen environment.

  • Knowledge of safe operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and other cooking tools.

  • Ability to manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and communicate supply needs effectively.

  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and cleanliness standards, including maintaining the canteen and kitchen areas.

  • Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills, able to support daily operations and report equipment or facility issues promptly.
