ICONMA, LLC Contract Specialist III - IT Software in United States

Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Contract Specialist III - IT Software for their Houston, TX/Bartlesville, OK/Hybrid location. Responsibilities:

  • Solicitation, negotiation, award, and post award administration of Information Technology Software contracts.

  • Executing day-to-day procurement activities, mainly focusing on negotiating and executing contracts in support of the Information Technology Software team, including but not limited to:

  • Negotiating various types of agreements in support of IT Software (Masters, SOW’s, NDA’s, POC’s, etc.)

  • Post execution contract administration

  • Invoice resolution

  • Conducting RFPs in Company’s approved sourcing tool

  • Driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance and streamline contracting processes.

  • Managing assigned software contract assignments effectively and efficiently, with focus on high stakeholder engagement/management.

  • Mitigating procurement risks, while reducing total cost of ownership without negatively affecting value.

  • Maintaining appropriate contract files in accordance with document retention policies.

  • Supporting periodic audit activities.

  • Collaborating with Legal to ensure compliance with all P66 clause owner requirements and legal statutes.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience negotiating IT Software contracts (Masters, SOW’s, NDA’s, POC’s, etc.)

  • Procurement experience in the energy industry

  • Proficient in SAP and Icertis.

  • Advanced understanding of IT Software Buying Channels (OEM, Resellers, Etc.)

  • Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to negotiate and influence critical decisions.
