The Business Analyst will serve as the critical liaison between stakeholders and technical teams for the implementation of the Honeywell solutions for mega projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements, ensuring the final BAS solution aligns with the operational needs, safety protocols, and strategic goals. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, deep technical knowledge of building automation systems, and an understanding of the complex, high-security environment of a major international airport.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Elicitation and Analysis: Conduct in-depth interviews, workshops, and surveys with airport operations teams, maintenance crews, and other key stakeholders to define and document business needs and system requirements for the Honeywell solutions. Perform gap analyses between existing processes ("as-is") and desired future processes ("to-be"), focusing on efficiency, reliability, and security.
Process Mapping and Modeling: Document and visualize current business processes related to building management, energy consumption, and equipment maintenance within the project. Model and design optimized workflows to enhance operational performance and reduce energy usage.
Stakeholder Management and Communication: Act as the central point of communication between the project's business, technical, and quality assurance teams. Translate complex technical information into clear, business-friendly terms for stakeholders and vice versa for the development team.
Assist in defining test cases and scenarios based on requirements to ensure meeting all specified business and operational needs.
Support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase by coordinating with end-users and logging any deviations or defects.
Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process definition documents (PDDs).
Generate reports and presentations to communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to project leadership
Project and Change Management Support:
Assist the Project Manager in maintaining scope, managing timelines, and assessing the impact of change requests on the project.
Facilitate a smooth transition by supporting change management efforts and end-user training to drive adoption of the new system.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with significant exposure to complex IT implementation or automation projects.
Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally in the aviation or a similarly regulated industry.
Understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
Analytical Acumen: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to break down complex issues and identify root causes.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to gathering and documenting requirements accurately and comprehensively.
Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build relationships and manage diverse stakeholder expectations effectively.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
