About the Role

The purpose of this role is to drive existing customer growth & retention within Legal, Corporate, Government and Academic markets. The role will be target driven with strong prospecting and closing capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive upsell/ add on and new sales within existing customers’ business

  • YOY improvement in multiyear deals and uplifts

  • Achievement of territory market share, penetration/customer retention and growth targets.

  • Effectively identify and develop sales opportunities to grow each customers spend by providing a total solution selling approach.

  • Collaboration with Marketing in lead generation and opportunity identification.

  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders in strategic and designated accounts with the purpose of expanding the penetration of LexisNexis products and Solutions

  • Effectively identify and develop sales leads and opportunities to develop a sales pipeline using prescribed sales methodology

  • Creates demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Sales within a prominent organisation where structure sales and consultative selling approaches are used.

  • Ability to write complex correspondence and proposals to describe business requirements and propose solutions

  • Demonstrated performance against sales objectives.

  • Experience in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)

  • Experience in high level account management and client relationship development.

  • High level presentation skills

  • Strong numeracy skills

  • Highly developed computer skills including Word, Excel, Database etc.
