We are looking for a product designer with excellent interaction design skills and a strong sense of visual aesthetics to enhance the user experience within our product. As a product designer on the Manus team, you’ll have the opportunity to play a central role in the way we build technologies — ensuring they are valuable, easy to use and of the highest level of craft and execution. You’ll be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation to tweaking pixels right before launch. We’ll expect you to utilize your full range of product design, interaction design and visual design skills, while contributing to high-level strategic decisions with product and executive partners.

Product Designer, Manus Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers.
Participate in every stage of the product development cycle, from ideation to delivering high-quality, launch-ready designs.
Rapidly prototype conceptual product ideas, design user flows informed by data analysis and user research, collect feedback from stakeholders, and iterate to deliver the best user experience.
Continuously integrate user feedback and business requirements into product improvements.
Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our users.
Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces.
Design new experiences or layouts that evolve and define visual systems.
Give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually improve for quality.
Willingness to represent work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts.
Lead and participate in technical syncs with Mandarin-speaking teams, translate and review technical specifications to ensure alignment across partners.

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
4+ years of experience designing complex software products, end to end, with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectives
Hands-on experience with A/B testing and data-driven design practices
Experience building and shipping multiple features that are broad/ambiguous in scope and encompass an end-to-end experience across a variety of platforms
Interaction design experience with knowledge to define how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how this product will scale
Visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function
Experience in developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to people and the company

Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is preferred to conduct daily meetings with Mandarin-speaking colleagues/vendors, and to review technical specifications in Mandarin
Experience connecting your work with other related initiatives across the company while driving collaboration
Examples of leadership in non-product dimensions that have made a team stronger and positively impacted the work environment such as taking on mentorship opportunities
Deep understanding of Design Systems, including principles, processes, and lifecycle management
Proven experience collaborating with user research, data analysis, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver live products
Experience with Conversational AI or chatbot design
Experience in building and maintaining design systems
Motion design skills
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
