Why This Role Matters

The Senior FP&A Process Excellence Specialist plays a key role in driving the transformation of FP&A processes and systems across EMEA. The role combines deep process understanding, knowing what is done, by whom, and why—with strong technical IT expertise in how to make these processes more seamless, automated, and digitalized.

As a transformation enabler, the Senior Specialist leads the design and continuous improvement of FP&A ways of working, integrating process simplification with modern technologies such as automation, advanced analytics, and AI. The position requires the ability to navigate complexity, connect process and data flows, and deliver practical, scalable solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the redesign and optimization of FP&A processes such as Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting, and Performance Measurement. Define end-to-end workflows, roles, and governance to ensure accountability and clarity. Identify bottlenecks and simplification opportunities to deliver streamlined, standardized processes across the region.

  • Drive the adoption of digital tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions to optimize FP&A operations. Define business requirements, partner with IT and reporting teams, and ensure effective integration and adoption of new technologies. Promote the use of advanced analytics and self-service reporting to accelerate insight generation.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by applying structured methodologies and performance metrics. Track progress, measure impact, and ensure sustainability of enhancements through clear documentation, governance, and knowledge sharing. Act as a change agent to drive engagement and adoption across Finance teams.

  • Partner closely with FP&A, Controlling, IT, and Business stakeholders to align process transformation with organizational priorities. Serve as a bridge between Finance and Technology, translating business needs into digital and process solutions. Encourage cross-functional collaboration and accountability to deliver lasting improvements.

  • Internal Interaction & Collaboration: Works closely with regional and global FP&A teams, Finance Systems & Reporting, Controlling, and IT. Collaborates with Business Partners to align process changes with decision-making needs.

  • External Interaction & Collaboration: Coordinates with external consultants or vendors as needed for system implementation, automation tools, or process benchmarking.

  • Acts as a connector between Finance and Technology, ensuring business requirements are translated into digital solutions that enhance efficiency and insight generation.

What You'll Bring

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in FP&A, process improvement, or finance systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; recognized accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) considered a plus.

  • Strong FP&A expertise with end-to-end finance process knowledge and proven experience in process redesign, automation, and finance digitalization.

  • Solid technical background with exposure to AI, advanced analytics, or data visualization (SAC, Power BI, Python or similar).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence without formal authority.

  • Self-driven and intellectually curious, able to manage complexity with clarity and a continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
