Why This Role Matters
We are seeking an Accounting Intern to support our finance team with daily accounting tasks. Responsibilities include preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end closings, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting audits. The role also involves analyzing ledger accounts, reporting discrepancies, and contributing to process improvements.
What You’ll Do
Assist in preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledger
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other ledger accounts
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Assist in financial audits by gathering and organizing supporting documents
Analyze general ledger accounts and report discrepancies to senior accountants
Contribute to process improvements, document accounting procedures, and handle other administrative tasks as needed
What You'll Bring
To be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance and Banks, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
Microsoft Office knowledge
Good communication & collaboration skills
Demonstrated high reliability and self-motivation
Fluency in spoken and written English
Must be comfortable in interacting with others
