The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an ESS Network Specialist. Specialist shall provide on-site technical assistance to support the installation, inspection, adjustments, reconfiguration, and introduction of new or advanced technologies, as well as updates, testing, and related technical support for these systems.

Responsibilities:

  • The installation of electrical system components as assigned (e.g., panels, pull stations, conduit, wire, etc.) for providing enhanced and/or upgraded system capabilities.

  • The installation, upgrade of, disassembly and reconfiguration of systems, operator and maintenance training, service, repair, and maintenance of electronic and mechanical security systems.

  • Diagnose electrical problems or failures in assigned systems for identifying equipment and/or systems repair.

  • Provide technical expertise for security systems and installed equipment upgrades and reconfigurations at designated bases in Southwest Asia.

  • Design, configure, and maintain Layer 2/Layer 3 network architectures supporting ESS environments.

  • Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management

  • Support field teams with network integration and issue resolution

  • Ensure as-built drawings accurately reflect deployed network configurations

  • Maintain system hardening baselines and security configurations

  • Support inspections, audits, and cybersecurity assessments

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering supporting DoD or secure environments

  • Hands-on experience with ESS systems (CCTV, IDS/ACS, or similar)

  • Strong knowledge of: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, Cisco IOS/NX-OS configuration, Network security principles

  • Associates or Bachelor's degrees in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • This role requires 60-hour workweeks in a deployed environment

  • A valid US passport and a US driver's license.

  • Active US Secret Clearance.

  • IAT Level II or III Certification (one of the following): Security+ CE, CASP+, CISSP (preferred)

  • Network Certification (preferred):CCNA / CCNP

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$49,900 - $100,000
