Join our Global Procurement Team!
The Procurement Team owns Akamai's end-to-end supply-chain process. We establish and maintain stakeholder relationships internally and externally. We manage our suppliers to best optimize our investments and supply base. Through effective sourcing and negotiation, we constantly enable and deliver value capture (cost-saving/avoidance).
This is fixed-term contract (18 months).

Associated with the Global Procurement Team, you will be part of all our strategic initiatives. This role will have significant support & visibility to the Category and Executive leadership.
As a Procurement Analyst, you will:
Supporting the Category Manager in developing and implementing the Services Division's strategy (demand, supply, SWOT, cost modeling).
Coordinating and executing strategic sourcing activities (RFx’s) in line with the category strategy
Strengthening supplier relationships, continuing to optimize supply base proactively, coordinating with sourcing for any negotiation requirements
Partnering with internal stakeholders to meet their purchasing needs while prioritizing ROI, cost efficiency, and value
Preparing standard procurement reports and dashboards
Maintenance of outstanding Purchase Orders (invoice review, stakeholder status updates, coding corrections)

To be successful in this role you will:
Have experience in a Procurement environment with Purchase Order generation and troubleshooting
Have proven experience in managing multi-region customers, suppliers – diverse supplier base
Demonstrate concise verbal and written communication/articulation skills with ability to manage internal stakeholder relationship
Possess a strategic mindset; be a team-player and quick learner
Have ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effectively working as part of a global team spanning multiple time zones
Have experience in managing multi-region customers and suppliers, including a diverse supplier base
