IHG Sales Manager in Philippines
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities across assigned market segments.
Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and presentations to promote hotel products and services.
Prepare proposals, contracts, and quotations for clients.
Maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, and business partners.
Account Management
Manage and grow existing client accounts to maximize revenue opportunities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and account updates.
Revenue Generation
Achieve individual and departmental sales targets and revenue goals .
Promote hotel facilities including rooms, meetings, conferences, and events .
Coordinate with Revenue Management to optimize rates and availability.
Client Relations
Ensure prompt responses to client inquiries and requests.
Conduct site inspections and hotel presentations for prospective clients.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and handle client concerns effectively.
Internal Coordination
Work closely with Reservations, Banquets, Front Office, and other operational departments to ensure smooth execution of bookings and events.
Participate in sales meetings, strategy discussions, and training sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field .
Minimum 2–5 years experience in hotel sales or hospitality industry .
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
Goal-oriented with strong sales and presentation skills.
