IHG Assoc Data Scientist III in Philippines
Key Accountabilities
• Develop a strong business knowledge of IHG One Rewards program
• Execute small to mid-sized modeling or analytics projects end-to-end with light oversight
• Apply feature engineering and model evaluation best practices
• Support A/B test setup and results analysis
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Prepare clear, business-ready summaries of analytical findings
• Other job duties as assigned based on focus of the role
Education/ Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related quantitative field with 5 or more years of progressive work experience in analytics; or master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field with 3 or more years of progressive work experience in analytics
Technical Skills and Knowledge
• Strong SQL and Python for analytics and model development
• Working knowledge of supervised ML techniques and evaluation metrics
• Experience with version control (Git) and code reproducibility
• Familiarity with cloud ML workflows (GCP Vertex AI pipelines, BigQueryML)
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
