As a manufacturing supervisor, you will work in the manufacturing environment and spend 12 hours in the factory with manufacturing direct reports. The desired candidate will have previous experience transitioning to new roles quickly and effectively, learning new concepts, and being self-motivated to meet objectives in a rapid paced work environment.
The candidate must be a team player who can work with supervisors and engineers to achieve business goals, have excellent people skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, influence others within and across teams, and relate to individuals from various backgrounds, experiences, and skills. The ability to successfully motivate and enable others to perform at a high level is fundamental to the job role. Experience with training and developing others or leading teams is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
Supervise a group of manufacturing specialists and technicians in daily routines to meet departmental goals.
Carry out investigation on hold lots in an expeditious manner to minimize the impact of problem through immediate containment and recall any lots shipped out of factory with the help of QA/equipment/process engineering.
Plan and administer policies and procedures
Make recommendations on direct/indirect labor
Support and implement direct labor staffing plan for assembly or test manufacturing team
Lead and implement 5S efforts and projects on designated shift to resolve manufacturing and technical issues that impact manufacturing, costs, cycle time, etc. in a highly automated factory
Support and execute to an established priority lot protocol, ensuring rapid lot movement of critical lots
Select and develop personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function
Escalate production issues in a timely and effective manner
Learn processes to prevent scrap occurrence, poor quality and lost cycle time
Learn basic foundation skills such as Industrial Engineering, Inventory Management and Cost Saving
Communicate process changes, production goals, and resolve issues involving the engineering support groups
Manage inventory control of all the stock items to meet department budget and in cases where there is over usage, need to investigate the cause and define preventive action.

Minimum requirements:
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Technology Management or a related Engineering/Management field
Minimum 3.0 CGPA
Fresh graduates or less than 2 years of relevant working experiences
Need to be in 12 hours rotating shift work
Preferred qualifications:
Experiences in semiconductor is added advantage
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to lead and motivate subordinates to achieve organizational goals.
Able to plan and execute plans effectively.
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
