Join Hologic’s Diagnostics team as a Clinical Applications Specialist and become a trusted partner to laboratories across Korea. In this field-based role, you will combine scientific expertise, technical troubleshooting, and customer engagement to help laboratories successfully implement and maximize the value of Hologic’s diagnostic solutions.
Hologic’s diagnostic technologies enable laboratories to deliver fast, accurate results that support better patient care. As a Clinical Applications Specialist , you will work closely with laboratory teams to provide training, optimize workflows, and offer scientific and technical guidance to ensure confident and effective use of our in vitro diagnostic platforms.
Acting as a key technical partner, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Service, Marketing, and R&D while supporting laboratories in achieving efficient operations, strong user experiences, and high-quality clinical outcomes.
What to Expect
Customer Training & Onboarding Deliver on-site and remote training for laboratory personnel on Hologic’s in vitro diagnostic portfolio. Support customers with assay setup, result interpretation, and instrument maintenance to ensure confident and effective system use.
Workflow Optimization Assess laboratory processes and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and productivity using Hologic systems. Support integration with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and other laboratory technologies.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting Work alongside Field Service Engineers to resolve technical issues. Provide application-level troubleshooting for instruments, assays, and software to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
Clinical & Scientific Expertise Share relevant clinical insights and scientific knowledge related to Hologic diagnostic products. Engage in scientific discussions with laboratory professionals and act as a trusted resource for application-related questions.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to share customer insights and support continuous product improvement. Participate in product demonstrations, evaluations, and industry events when needed.
Compliance & Documentation Ensure training activities and documentation meet regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, customer interactions, and support activities.
What We Expect
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science
Minimum of 6 years’ experience working in a laboratory environment
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to train and engage diverse audiences
A customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%)
