What impact you’ll make:
As a member of the Power DT Engineering team you will be an active contributor to the key business initiative PALM to transform and consolidate the PLM portfolio leveraging latest, innovative technology based on Teamcenter PLM which enables further business innovation, productivity as well as improving product quality. You will architect and optimize our product build, test, and deployment pipelines, enabling our teams to deliver high-quality software faster and more reliably.
Job Description
What you ’ll do
Lead the end-to-endproductdelivery of our Next Generation PLM solution (PALM) for the Power segment, ensuring alignment with businessobjectivesand technical excellence.
Define, implement, and own processes for coordinating technical delivery and quality assurance, embedding best practices and continuous improvement.
Orchestrate internal teams and external partners using Agile methodologies, fosteringcollaborationand driving the solution to meet rigorous quality and performance standards
Track andmonitorprogram delivery progress, metrics, and risks. Ensure adherence to software development standards and rapid remediation of defects.
Assistin the resolution of conflicting priorities through the proactive communication of requirements,timelinesand stakeholders.
Apply LEAN principles to streamline defect resolution, accelerate value delivery, and continuously enhance delivery processes and outcomes.
Regularly present updates, insights, and recommendations to GEV leadership and external partners, ensuring transparency and alignment on progress and strategic direction.
What you’ll bring (B asic Q ualification s)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), with significant years of IT professional experience, or equivalent experience/ knowledge
Proven experience in leading software engineering including measurable year over year continuous improvement results for the software quality applying software engineering principles and agile practices
Experience in automating build, test and deployment processes ensuring rapid and reliable software delivery
Experience in implementing test automation tovalidatecode quality,performanceand reliability at every stage of the development lifecycle
What will make you stand out
Understanding of latest PLM software solutions, in particular Teamcenter from Siemens and 3D Experience Platform from Dassault Systemes
Effective communicator with experience in presenting and interacting with senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in relationship management inclusive of varied and complex stakeholder needs, collaborative and innovative vendor partner relationships
Expertise with Lean and SAFe /Agile. Demonstrated understanding of Agile principles and tools used for effective team and work management.
Ability to decompose problems and make decisions when problems or solutions are ambiguous.
Uses critical thinking skills and organizational skills to help leaders and leadership teams resolve issues and define solutions.
