IHG Information Technology Manager in India
IT Operations Management
Manage daily IT operations across all hotel departments.
Ensure smooth functioning of hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and booking platforms.
Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues promptly.
Provide IT support to hotel employees and management.
2. System & Network Administration
Maintain servers, networks, Wi-Fi systems, and internet connectivity.
Ensure secure network access for guests and staff.
Manage backups, system updates, and software installations.
Monitor cybersecurity risks and implement preventive measures.
3. Hotel Software Management
Maintain Property Management System (PMS).
Support POS systems in restaurants and outlets.
Manage HR, finance, and inventory software integration.
Coordinate with software vendors for upgrades and troubleshooting.
4. Data Security & Compliance
Protect hotel data and guest information.
Implement cybersecurity policies and access controls.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and standards.
5. Vendor & Asset Management
Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers.
Manage IT equipment inventory and lifecycle.
Control IT budget and recommend technology upgrades.
6. Team Support & Training
Train staff on hotel systems and IT best practices.
Provide technical guidance during new system implementation.
Support digital transformation initiatives.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of hotel IT systems (PMS, POS, Channel Manager).
Networking and server management skills.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Cybersecurity awareness.
Communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
3–7 years of IT experience (hotel industry preferred).
Certifications like CCNA, Microsoft, or ITIL are an advantage.
