IHG Banqueting Supervisor (InterContinental Budapest) in Hungary
Responsibilities
Co-ordinate the day to day operations of the Banquet floor to obtain maximum profit and maximum guest satisfaction
Greet function organizers on arrival and ensure that their requests are dealt with
Ensure the details on the event order are delivered
Follow up problems which may arise from event order and room allocations and rectify as soon as possible
Maintain master file of banquet functions
Oversee all service and set ups
Ensure rooms, quality of food and final set up are inspected regularly
Ensure all equipment requests are fulfilled
Handling of equipment inventory on monthly basis
Requirements
You have relevant professional qualification
You have a strong intermediate level of active knowledge of English and can communicate with guests
You have an open personality with a strong intercultural competence
You are precise, reliable, flexible and fast working
You have ability to communicate in English and Hungarian as well
You have guest-oriented thinking
Nice-to-have
Relevant professional qualification and experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in a hotel
