About the role

We’re looking for a creative, motivated, and passionate Content Developer to join our Apprenticeships and Commercial Short Courses team. This is a highly varied and fast‑paced role where you’ll create high‑quality, original learning content that inspires learners and brings programmes to life.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, and externally, you’ll help ensure our apprenticeship and commercial programme offer is innovative, impactful and aligned to customer and organisational needs.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing creative ideas and innovative approaches to learning, keeping up to date with market trends

  • Producing graphics and supporting photo and video editing, collaborating with design teams where needed

  • Managing multiple priorities effectively, planning and scheduling work to meet tight deadlines

  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement content

  • Proofreading and quality‑checking content to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Supporting delivery and quality teams with learning materials as required

  • Maintaining systems to register and manage content and learning assets

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and business partners

  • Completing and recording relevant CPD activities to continuously enhance your skills

About you

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a confident communicator, a strong team player, and someone with exceptional attention to detail. You’ll bring learning to life through real‑world examples, case studies and practical insight, drawing on your experience in Business Skills, Coaching and Leadership and Management.

You’ll be someone who:

  • Is passionate about apprenticeships and learning design

  • Thrives in a busy, agile, fast‑paced environment

  • Enjoys balancing creativity with structure and meeting tight deadlines

  • Is proactive, self‑motivated and highly organised

  • Is comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Essential skills and experience

  • A passion for developing creative digital learning, with strong creative skills and an eye for detail

  • Proven experience creating engaging learning content for qualifications or apprenticeship programmes (with examples of recent work)

  • Experience of leadership and management within a range of organisations, supported by a relevant qualification or significant occupational experience

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and deliver to extremely tight deadlines

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills

  • Exceptional organisational, time‑management and prioritisation skills

  • Strong editing and proofreading capability with outstanding accuracy

  • High levels of digital and IT capability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive, agile and motivated mindset

Desirable skills

  • Experience with learning authoring tools such as Articulate or iSpring

  • Ability to create SCORM‑compliant packages

  • Skills in video editing or digital content creation

Additional Information

This is a home‑based role, with travel as required, so you’ll need a suitable working space.
