Cytel Senior Director, Project Management in United Kingdom
Strategic Leadership:
Define and implement the project management vision, governance model, and operating framework.
Align project delivery strategy with business growth objectives.
Act as a senior escalation point for critical programs and risks.
Portfolio & Delivery Oversight:
Oversee large, high-value programs.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Drive standardized methodologies.
Implement KPI tracking.
Operational Excellence:
Establish and improve project management processes and tools.
Lead resource planning and capacity management.
Drive efficiency initiatives.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Build executive-level client relationships.
Ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Support business development efforts.
Financial & Commercial Accountability:
Own portfolio financial performance.
Manage forecasting and cost control.
Identify financial risks and opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and mentor Project Managers.
Establish career paths and training.
Drive talent acquisition.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
12–15+ years of experience, with a minimum of 6 years in a mangerial role.
Strong project management and delivery experience.
Financial management experience.
Experience in regulated environments preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience scaling project management functions.
Familiarity with clinical trials and the role of data monitoring committees.
Global delivery experience.
