Job Description
Join us for our virtual work experience program on the 13th and 14th April 2026
HarperCollins UK is pleased to announce this year's first virtual work experience program scheduled for the 13th and 14th April 2026. This two-day program offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals interested in exploring the various functions within our leading publishing house.
Whether you have recently finished education, are a career changer, or are simply eager to learn more about a career in publishing, our work experience program is the perfect opportunity to dive into the industry and HarperCollins.
During this two-day program (10am - 4pm), participants will engage in 30 minutes to 1-hour sessions with different departments, including Design, Marketing, Editorial, and Publicity, which will provide an overview of the day-to-day responsibilities. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions to the relevant teams, allowing for direct interaction with our departments.
This is an interactive and engaging event designed to give you an inside look at the publishing world, answer your questions, and inspire the next steps in your career.
Requirements:
Access to a computer or laptop with a reliable internet connection
A distraction free, quiet and comfortable working environment suitable for remote participation
A genuine interest in publishing and the various roles within the industry

Pre-existing right to work in the UK
You don’t need a degree
Noprior experience working in the Publishing Industry
Due to limited availability, participants will be selected based on their interests, availability and eligibility. If you are not selected this time, we encourage candidates to apply for future programs or permanent roles within HarperCollins UK.
