IHG Commis Waiter/Waitress - Kimpton Vividora Barcelona in Spain
What’s the job?
As the friendly face of our hotel restaurant, you’ll also be a helpful host, a local expert, and a proud brand ambassador. Whether you’re preparing drinks exactly as our guests want or serving them delicious food, you’ll be devoted to creating relaxing, memorable experiences.
You’ll report to the F&B Manager.
Your day-to-day
Create a warm welcome for all guests and support the team in setting the tone for a great dining experience.
Assist waiters in serving food and beverages, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Help prepare the outlet by setting up tables, restocking supplies, and keeping service areas organized.
Ensure food and beverage stations are well stocked throughout service.
Maintain cleanliness and order in all working areas, including the dining room and service stations.
Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to support smooth service flow.
Be ready to assist with ad-hoc tasks when needed, including supporting room service, bar, or terrace operations.
Work closely with restaurant and kitchen colleagues to ensure seamless service.
Attend to basic guest needs and communicate requests to the responsible waiter.
2+ years’ experience working within hotel/restaurant.
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field.
Must be fluent in Spanish and English, additional languages will be highly valuable.
Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, team-worker and with passion for service.
