You assist in planning, developing and execution of capital projects, technical development, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain and capital-expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest level of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You help ensure sure that Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and Mondelēz standards in execution are followed.
How you will contribute
The role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards, and business and innovation processes in project management. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.

As a Project Engineer, you will lead the design, installation, and commissioning of capital projects across our manufacturing landscape. You aren't just managing timelines; you are ensuring that our production lines for iconic brands like Clorets, Halls, and Trident are optimized for safety, quality, and sustainability. You will bridge the gap between regional engineering strategies and local plant execution.
What you need to know about this position:
CAPEX Management: You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of engineering projects, from initial feasibility studies and budgeting to final handover.
Vertical Startups: You will implement "Early Management" (EM) pillars to ensure new equipment reaches full speed and efficiency immediately upon commissioning.
Cross-Functional Leadership: You will collaborate closely with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Quality, and Research & Development (R&D) to ensure all technical solutions meet Mondelēz’s rigorous global standards.

Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical preferred).
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Job specific requirements:
Experience: 1–3+ years of engineering experience in FMCG, Food Beverage environment or Heavy industry.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project. understanding of automation, PLC systems, and MEP works is a plus.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ATEX regulations (for handling powders/combustibles) and hygienic design principles for food manufacturing.
Travel requirements:
Frequency: Up to 10% travel may be required, depending on the scope of regional projects and the need to visit equipment manufacturers for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
