Job Description
Resumen del Puesto**
El Manipulador de Materiales es responsable de la recepción, almacenamiento, movimiento y preparación de materiales y productos dentro del almacén y áreas de producción, asegurando la eficiencia operativa y la integridad del inventario.
Responsabilidades del Puesto**
Cargar y descargar materiales de camiones y contenedores, verificando la cantidad y calidad de los productos recibidos.
Transportar materiales a las áreas de almacenamiento designadas, utilizando equipos como montacargas, transpaletas o carretillas.
Organizar y mantener el inventario del almacén, asegurando la correcta identificación y accesibilidad de los productos.
Preparar pedidos y materiales para la producción o el envío, siguiendo las órdenes de trabajo y los procedimientos establecidos.
Realizar el conteo cíclico de inventario y participar en los inventarios físicos periódicos.
Inspeccionar materiales en busca de daños o defectos y reportar cualquier anomalía.
Mantener un ambiente de trabajo limpio y seguro, siguiendo las normas de seguridad y salud ocupacional.
Operar equipos de manejo de materiales de forma segura y eficiente.
Colaborar con otros departamentos para asegurar el flujo continuo de materiales.
Cualificaciones del Puesto**
Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente.
Experiencia previa en un puesto similar, preferiblemente en un entorno de almacén o manufactura.
Habilidad para operar montacargas y otros equipos de manejo de materiales (se valorará la certificación).
Capacidad para levantar y mover objetos pesados de forma regular.
Atención al detalle y habilidad para seguir instrucciones.
Conocimientos básicos de seguridad en el almacén.
Habilidad para trabajar en equipo y comunicarse eficazmente.
Disponibilidad para trabajar en turnos, si es necesario.
