In this role you are going to join the validation team of the Isolated Analog-Digital-Converters group in Freising, Germany. Validation engineers cover electrical, parametric characterization of the integrated circuits, silicon debug support and data analysis. This includes printed circuit board design, test software development and error analysis. You are going to be an integral part of the new product development team, where you will be interfacing across multiple functions in an international team with focus on the following points:

  • Characterization of key product parameters using laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, pattern generator...)

  • Verification, optimization and automation of existing measurement and test concepts

  • Processing, statistical analysis and presentation of measurement data

  • Assignment to one or more owned development projects: measurement automation, optimization of measurement throughput or development of concept boards

Minimum requirements:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree

  • Good programming skills, preferable LabVIEW, Python and C/C++ Basic understanding of analog digital converters and analog front-ends

  • Minimum availability 20 weeks

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with bench test equipment

  • Experience with analog-mixed-signal parts and signal processing

  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes

  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
