Cummins Inc. Financial Accountant in Czech Republic
We are looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join our team specializing in Finance for Cummins in Czech Republic, Cestlice. This position offers a hybrid work schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Prepare and maintain financial records, reports and statements
Manage interactions with external auditors and external tax provider
Collaborate with Cummins Shared service centre and Central finance teams
Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
Primary point of contact for tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
Perform balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
Monitor invoices, expenses and payments processing
Manage accounts payable and receivable queries
Support management with ad-hoc financial tasks and reports
Prepare and post entries during month end close
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations
Qualifications
Education/ Experience:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
3-5 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Czech and English professional level
Good knowledge of accounting principles and local financial regulations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
