Amazon Programmatic Advertising Specialist , Advertising Support in Virtual, Costa Rica
Description
The Support Products & Services (SP&S) team is looking for a solutions-oriented and customer obsessed Programmatic Advertising Specialist to help advertisers troubleshoot and optimize self-service display, video, and audio campaigns within the Amazon Demand Side Platform (ADSP). In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and strategic consultation to advertisers across campaign setup, creative moderation, performance optimization, delivery, reporting, ad tags and trackers, and general campaign or account-level questions.
A successful Programmatic Advertising Specialist will have proven expertise in programmatic advertising platforms and a strong track record of successfully supporting global clients through technical troubleshooting and optimization consultation. They demonstrate advanced communication skills and can effectively articulate complex technical concepts and optimization strategies to advertisers and agencies. They will leverage their hands-on DSP experience and analytical capabilities to help advertisers achieve campaign objectives, diving deep into performance data to identify improvement opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
Key job responsibilities
• Responding promptly and accurately to live chat or email support questions, helping advertisers troubleshoot complex issues related to campaign setup, creative moderation, performance optimization, delivery, reporting, ad tags and trackers, or any general questions related to their campaign or account
• Conducting optimization analysis, performance reporting, and providing strategic recommendations based on campaign data and industry best practices
• Providing onboarding support, explanations of new features, consultation for product usage, and industry best practices to advertisers who reach out through contact us
• Analyzing and interpreting data with advertisers using analytics and attribution tools to identify campaign improvement areas, root causes, and optimization opportunities
• Collaborating with campaign planners, creative teams, and analysts to ensure comprehensive advertiser support and campaign success
• Monitoring industry trends and providing strategic input on programmatic advertising best practices and emerging opportunities
• Providing explicit client/customer support in technical contexts, including troubleshooting complex DSP configurations and campaign optimization challenges
• Assisting customers with questions related to product beta participation, capturing customer feedback, and collaborating with program partners to highlight product gaps and opportunities
• Escalating any technical troubleshooting issues and surfacing to leadership for wide-spread issues potentially impacting hundreds of advertisers
• Identifying opportunities to update existing support documentation and effectively escalating to content specialist
A day in the life
The Advertising Support DSP specialist plays an exciting and important role for Amazon by unblocking issues and complexities for our advertiser via email and live channels. They are comfortable stepping in and handling escalations from our Advertisers. They also support with audit requirements, coaching, training and participate in programs or projects.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or equivalent experience
Experience providing client services, customer support, or working with external stakeholders on shared objectives
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience managing campaigns in programmatic advertising platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar DSPs
2+ years of experience in digital marketing with focus on campaign management and optimization in online advertising or e-commerce
Experience with analytics, attribution, and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, attribution platforms, data visualization tools, or similar)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively and confidently communicate technical concepts to advertisers and agencies
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Amazon DSP
Advanced certifications (Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, or similar)
