The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Accountant Analyst (P2P) in Colombia
As an Accountant Analyst you will provide clear and accurate information to manage & analyze a segment of the business, in accordance with accounting principles, government regulations and company practice and policy, while been responsible for various closing, accounting, consolidation & Tax reporting activities.
What You’ll Do
Perform month-end closing activities, including preparing reconciliations, posting journal entries, analyzing variances, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with regional and corporate deadlines.
Manage and reconcile general ledger and accounts payable items, including pending items, invoice and down payment compensations, tax reports, and credit card expense registrations in SAP.
Provide support across the organization, responding to information requests from internal teams, vendors, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Support tax, audit, and special projects, preparing required analyses, documentation, and information for internal/external auditors and initiatives such as electronic invoicing and payroll.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation, promoting process enhancements, leveraging emerging technologies, and strengthening organizational capability through training and innovation practices.
Assist operational finance tasks, such as invoice registration, cash requests, down payments, and provision entries.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
+2 years of experience in accounting.
Strong knowledge of both local and US GAAP accounting rules
Advanced knowledge in Excel
What Will Set You Apart
English knowledge
Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex data and issues and proactively develop solutions
SAP experience (user)
