Rogers Corporation Logistics Specialist in China
Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods, coordinating shipments, optimizing transportation routes, and maintaining accurate records. This position collaborates with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics service providers to ensure timely delivery, cost-effective transportation, and adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
Essential Functions:
• Coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods, ensuring timely and efficient shipment.
• Optimize transportation routes, modes, and carriers to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements in transportation and logistics operations.
• Track and trace shipments, proactively identifying potential delays or issues and taking necessary actions to mitigate them.
• Maintain accurate logistics documentation, including bills of lading, shipping invoices, and customs documents.
• Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics service providers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
• 2+ years of experience of inventory management and logistics
• Knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with logistics documentation and regulatory requirements, such as bills of lading, customs documents, and import/export regulations.
