Job Description: You’ll design, build, and operationalize insight products that improve planning accuracy, forecast quality, pipeline health, and customer targeting across China
Pearson is seeking a hands‑on analytics professional to design, build, and operationalize insight products that improve planning accuracy, forecast quality, pipeline health, and customer targeting across China. You’ll convert business questions into robust analytics, lead BI deliverables end‑to‑end, and champion a data‑driven culture within the commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop deep understanding of sales processes, pipelines, and revenue mechanics and capabilities of analyzing large-scale and complex sales and financial datasets.
Convert sales and business requirements into data-driven insights, optimizing planning, forecasting, propensity modeling, and customer targeting.
Work closely with the Sales and Finance business teams to ensure revenue insights aligned with financial goals and sales strategy.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive BI reports and analytics to effectively deliver valuable insights to business stakeholders.
Leverage AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics solutions to automate insight generation and enhance effectiveness.
Foster a culture of innovation, learning, impact, and continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data analytics, industry mainstream cloud-based data platforms, and BI solutions.
Expertise in Power BI or Tableau (must be proficient in at least one).
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Explorer, or Google BigQuery (at least one required)
Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality, actionable data insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
