Job Description
This position reports to the District Manager / District Sales Manager and collaborates directly with district leadership. The primary responsibilities include initiating and establishing contact with key customers alongside local Sherwin-Williams sales representatives. The role involves targeting accounts with district management, providing comprehensive support throughout the sales process cycle. This role requires maintaining consistent field communication at the district levels, fostering long-term relationships with major market influencers. Additionally, the position involves gathering and communicating competitive information, new products, pricing requirements, and selling issues to sales representatives and management.

Essential Responsibilities:
Call on strategic accounts throughout the assigned districts to increase sales and market share of Diversified Brands and Sherwin-Williams products.
Maintain consistent field communication at the district level, developing long-term relationships with major influencers in the Barbados, Grenada and Saint Lucia markets.
Gather and communicate competitive information, new products, pricing requirements, and selling issues to Field Sales Reps, District Sales Managers, District Managers, and Area VPS.
Initiate and establish strategic customer contacts with decision-makers, alongside locally responsible field representatives.
Assist Barbados, Grenada and Saint Lucia markets with district sales reps in calling on prospective customers and target accounts, providing support throughout the entire sales process cycle.
Establish and regularly update market share and market potential metrics to executive leadership.
Work with district management and local reps in target markets to maintain knowledge of competitive field activity, evaluate competitor products and services, and develop relationships with key customers.
Additional Responsibilities:
Develop and successfully execute a strategic account development and acquisition strategy.
Make pricing and product recommendations.
Make account acquisition recommendations to the Vice President of Sales and division executives.
Assign and follow up with locally responsible servicing stores and sales personnel to ensure relationships are established locally.
Obtain maximum sales productivity through the acquisition of key accounts from strategic competitors.
Provide training and support to the sales team with sales excellence initiatives.
Assist the District Manager with any ad hoc requests.
Create and implement custom Sherplan strategies for markets, as well as sales tools that provide focus to the rep organization for key and opportunity accounts.
Support and introduce new products, with a focus on growing margins.
Support assigning CAC codes to all accounts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have the ability to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Internal Candidate: Completed training certification for your current position.
Internal Candidate: Minimum performance review rating of “3” (Meets Expectations).
High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g., GED).
