IHG Assistant Night Manager in Australia

Assistant Night Manager Full-Time | Overnight Role

Our hotel never sleeps — and neither does great guest experience. We’re looking for a Full-Time Assistant Night Manager to support the hotel's smooth overnight operations, lead the night team, and be the go-to person when it matters most.

If you’re calm under pressure, confident in making decisions, and enjoy working autonomously while still being part of a wider leadership team, this could be the perfect next step for you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • No two nights are the same, but your core responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and supervising the Night Audit and Front Office overnight operations

  • Acting as the senior manager on duty overnight, handling guest concerns and incidents with professionalism and care

  • Ensuring accurate completion of night audit procedures, reports, and financial reconciliation

  • Maintaining hotel security and safety standards throughout the night

  • Communicating effectively with day teams to ensure smooth handovers

  • Supporting team members, leading by example, and keeping morale strong during overnight shifts

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in Front Office or Night Audit

  • Strong problem-solving skills and confidence working independently

  • Excellent communication and guest service skills

  • A natural sense of responsibility and leadership

  • Ability to work overnight shifts on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

  • Working rights in Australia
