Job Description:
Transportation Planner / Modeller (STEAM Modeller)
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is looking for a talented Transportation Planner / Modeller to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Perform travel demand modeling using CUBE software on STEAM platform
Participate in preparation of transportation impact studies for developments, including data collection and analysis.
Support handling urban / metropolitan transportation planning and traffic engineering tasks including corridor studies and regional network studies.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
A degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or related discipline
At least 4 years in transportation in transportation planning or traffic engineering
At least 3 years of experience in travel demand modeling
Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Center (ITC) approval as a STEAM Modeler
Very good written and verbal communication skills
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience in traffic operational analysis including use of standard packages such as "SYNCHRO, HCS, SIDRA"
