Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Supervisor (O&M) for Parks and Roads O&M projects to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Following up corrective and preventive measure taken by the contractor.
Inspecting the work performed by the contractor(s) to ascertain that work is executed in accordance with the Contract Documents and accepted practices.
Handling the CRM System in related to the supervised contracts and ensuring all issues are addressed, identified and solved.
Assists the Engineering team in managing the works, and ensuring the works conform to the requirements of the project.
Can also undertake a wide range of skilled construction task including maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, and/or air conditioning facilities and equipment.
Record inspections, test, work executed etc.
Check instructions are carried out.
Reporting of all activities to superiors
Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site as required by the Resident Engineer and Project Safety Representative.
Follow up with technical staff of contractors on site.
Follow-up and record incoming & outgoing mails and all the documentation (reports, work orders, reports, memoranda, e-mail).
Updating all completed works reports concerning urgent works.
Coordinating with Project team, Consultants and Contractors Representatives for all administrative matters.
Perform other task assign by the Project management team, to assist meeting the team’s goals.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experiences in a related O&M field.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of civil and related engineering disciplines.
Working knowledge, or ability to rapidly acquire the knowledge of rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Demonstrated experience working independently, proactively solving problems and exhibiting a solution orientation.
Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in managing file structures, organizing project documentation and maintaining required project controls.
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in performing duties.
Arabic speaker
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Proficiency with MS Office Suite of tools
Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and strong technical writing skills are required.
