We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and execute federal construction projects at Marine Corps Base Quantico. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of assigned projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all contract requirements. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact with government stakeholders, internal teams, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute federal construction projects at Marine Corps Base Quantico.
Plan, coordinate, execute, and closeout assigned projects.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Ensure compliance with all contract requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact with government stakeholders, internal teams, and subcontractors.
Essential Skills
8+ years of construction experience, with at least 3+ years in a Project Manager role.
Experience managing federal construction projects, preferably on military installations.
Strong understanding of NAVFAC / USACE processes, contract administration, and federal project controls.
Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
Ability to obtain and maintain base access at MCB Quantico.
Work Environment
This role requires the candidate to sit onsite at Marine Corps Base Quantico.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $140000.00/hr.
