Aerotek Molding Machine Operator in Virginia Beach, Virginia
Molding Machine Operator – All Shifts | Full‑Time
Pay: $17–$19/hour (based on shift)
Join a growing manufacturing team where you’ll operate molding equipment, set up molds, and help produce high‑quality components used in electrical transmission systems. What You’ll Do
Set up molds, dies, and basic tooling
Operate molding machines and monitor cycle times
Make simple adjustments to keep production running smoothly
Troubleshoot common issues (short shots, flashing, incomplete fills)
Perform basic cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance
Inspect molded parts for quality and consistency
Record production runs, mold changes, and adjustments
Report equipment or material concerns to your supervisor
What We’re Looking For
Experience with molding, casting, extrusion, or general machine operation
Ability to follow setup instructions and recognize defects
Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools
Ability to read work instructions or simple technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and steady work pace
Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a fast‑paced environment
Nice to Have
Mold setup or changeover experience
Plastics, rubber, or casting background
Quality inspection skills
Basic troubleshooting or maintenance knowledge

Work Environment
This is a non‑climate‑controlled production facility that can get warm during summer months. You’ll have a designated workstation, clear safety procedures, and the ability to keep water at your station. The team is structured, supportive, and committed to producing high‑quality parts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
