Infinite Herbs & Specialties Production Supervisor in Vineland, New Jersey
Job Objective: To coordinate production processes to ensure it is efficient, effective and accurate by supervising the tasks assigned to production workers, assuring compliance with purchase orders that drive daily and weekly schedules, adhering to company procedures, quality standards and optimizing resources.
Professional Background: * Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or production * Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), knowledge of any production software (desirable)

Minimum 1 year in production processes
Functions and Responsibilities: * Review daily purchase orders in the companys established system and print them to schedule work assignments for production lines, prioritizing the customer with the earliest delivery and the product with the highest volume and availability * Daily review of plant material inventory to determine if the quantity is sufficient to meet daily production plan and for the coming days * Validate plant material inventory levels to meet daily and weekly production plans, optimizing production times by assessing the feasibility of advancing production of purchase orders * Ensure finished products match purchase orders and their identification complies with quantities, references, legal requirements and customer specifications, ensuring traceability * Verify during production organic products are segregated from conventional ones to comply with current regulations for handling organic products, avoiding any cross contamination * Coordinate with warehousing when purchase orders are completed for order preparation * Notify Plant Manager of any last minute changes in the production plan to establish timely action plans * Ensure assigned personnel complete the documentation that is necessary for accurate and full traceability process * Supervise compliance with company established safety standards for plant material, finished products, inputs, equipment and tools * Monitor the performance of production workers to establish necessary action plans * Strictly enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality area procedures and standards, HACCP procedures, current legal regulations and manufacturing best practices among production workers * Any other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor according to the nature of the role
