POSITION: Painting Estimator at Pro-Spec Painting Corporation, Vineland, NJ.Pro-Spec Painting Corporation is hiring a Painting Estimator to own the full estimating and sales cycle for residential (NJ House Painting), lead remediation (EPA RRP), and light commercial painting work. You will work directly with Ron Yarbrough, our founder and president, who personally mentors every estimator on Sage Estimating, pricing judgment, customer relationships, and the trade knowledge he has built over 46 years in the industry.WHAT YOU WILL DOEstimating (approximately 60% of your time, office-based): Review plans and specifications. Perform quantity takeoffs using eTakeoff. Price projects in Sage Estimating using Pro-Spec assemblies. Produce professional proposals. Manage your pipeline in HubSpot CRM.Sales and Customer Interaction (approximately 40% of your time, field-based): Respond to inbound leads within 24 hours. Conduct site walks across our seven-county South Jersey service area. Present proposals to customers and close sold work. Follow up on open proposals. Handle change orders on active jobs.Growth and Development: Train on Sage Estimating directly with Ron Yarbrough (4-6 weeks to basic competence, 3-6 months to fluency). Earn company-paid certifications: EPA RRP Lead Renovator, OSHA 10, OSHA 30.COMPENSATIONBase salary $55,000 to $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience. After 90-day training, 3% commission on signed contract value above a $25,000 per month threshold, paid on customer deposit with cancellation clawback. Personal vehicle reimbursed at IRS standard mileage rate ($0.70/mile) plus company gas card.BENEFITSHealth insurance stipend $400 per month toward a marketplace plan. Able to read drawings and specifications. Comfortable with Sage, HubSpot, email, and Microsoft Teams. Valid NJ driver license and personal auto insurance with business-use coverage. W-2 employment history. Reasonable commute to Vineland, NJ (approximately 45 minutes) or willing to relocate.
