Adecco US, Inc. Travel Registered Nurse Home Health (RN) in Ville Platte, Louisiana

A Travel Registered Nurse Home Health (RN) role is now available through Adecco Healthcare and Life Science. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a home health setting. This role involves traveling to multiple patient homes daily, delivering skilled nursing care, and supporting patients in managing their health conditions in the comfort of their own homes.

Location and Coverage Areas: Ville Platte, LA

Job duration: Minimum 3-month temp/contract role (potential for extension)

Salary: $ 55.92/hr.

Schedule & Work Details

  • Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Workdays: Monday – Friday

  • Weekend Requirement: On-call rotation approximately once per month

  • Travel: Daily travel required between patient homes within a 50-mile radius

  • Work Setting: Patient homes (multiple visits per day)

  • Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care to home health patients in accordance with physician orders and care plans

  • Perform patient assessments and deliver hands-on care including:

  • Patient and caregiver education

  • IV therapy and medication administration

  • Wound care and dressing changes

  • Catheter care and changes

  • Lab draws

  • Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification

  • Prior home health experience

  • Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase)

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of home health experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach
