Temporary Fulltime position from 3-15-2026 to 10-31-2026 48 Hours/week $18.48/ hour US worker H-2A Adverse Housing Compensation Adjustment -$1.80 -- Wage for H-2A workers provided housing is $16.68 3-months of experience Drives/operates farm machinery to plant, cultivate, spray, fertilize, and harvest grains, peas, canola, and hay. Attach farm implements, e.g., plow, disc, drill to tractor. Performs duties like lubricating, repairing farm machinery and transports crops to elevator or storage area lifting at least 60 lbs. Ability to work cattle and knowledge in calving. Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock such as moving, sorting, feeding, and calving. Assist in monitoring, branding, and immunizations. Monitor cattle and move them quickly from the pastures when ready to give birth. Assist with feed management for Dams and/or calves at different stages during gestation and post birth, which is seasonal. Operate/drive a loader tractor to feed cows and haying equipment including swather, baler, or rake. Ability to repair fences. No deduction, not required by law will be made that brings the worker's hourly earnings below the statutory federal or state minimum wage. FICA, State, and Federal taxes will not be deducted from worker's wages that are working under a temporary, agricultural visa, unless the worker request withholding, and the employer agrees to do so as stated by the IRS. To comply with Federal, State and County regulations must be willing to obtain a class D driver's license within two months of employment. If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record.Workers who voluntarily quit or are terminated for cause prior to completing 50% of the contract period will be required to reimburse the employer for the full amounts of transportation and subsistence which were advanced and /or reimbursed to the worker. After the worker has completed 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse worker for the cost of transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract, the employer will treat outbound transportation in a likewise manner. The employer will provide or pay for charter bus services or other modes of transportation to groups of workers or permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved.
