Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team, responsible for performing diesel repairs, including heavy-duty oil changes, repairs on turbos, cylinder heads, clutches, and differentials. This role involves working on trailers, handling lift gates, PMs, cylinders, basic electrical tasks, and trailer repairs. The technician will be paid for drive time and provided with company vehicles for transportation between sites.
Responsibilities
Perform diesel repairs, including heavy-duty oil changes, turbo work, cylinder heads, clutches, and differential repairs.
Work on trailers, including lift gates, PMs, cylinders, and basic electrical repairs.
Travel to various locations, typically spending three days at one site and two days at another.
Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Communicate effectively and manage time efficiently to complete tasks independently.
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
2+ years of experience with diesel equipment.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Work Environment
Work shifts are Monday to Friday, with very rare Saturday shifts and no Sunday work.
Will be required to travel between Victoria, TX and up to a 1 hour radius (drive time paid)
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Victoria, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $37.00/hr.
