Responsibilities
Manufacturing Solution Support
Assists in the implementation and supports manufacturing activities, ensuring equipment operates according to specifications.
Supports the procurement, installation, and qualification of equipment under the guidance of manufacturing engineers.
Manufacturing Systems Operation
Operates flexible manufacturing systems designed to meet internal and customer requirements.
Provides feedback to engineers on system performance and potential improvements.
Process Documentation Assistance
Helps develop and maintain process documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, and parameter sheets, poke yoke and others.
Ensures documentation is accurate and accessible to support production needs.
Engineering Qualification Support
Participates in Design Review (DR), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities.
Assists in documenting and registering qualification activities to ensure production processes meet performance and quality standards.
Supports MSA, long term capability, R&R.
Continuous Improvement Participation
Identifies opportunities for process enhancements and collaborates with engineers to implement improvements.
Analyses equipment effectiveness and supports cost-reduction initiatives.
Problem Solving Assistance
Supports cross-functional teams in implementing corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues.
Utilizes problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, PDCA, 5Whys, Failure Tree Analysis, and Fishbone Analysis to identify root causes and implement countermeasures.
Comply with environmental, health and safety, quality and productivity standards
Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations: Code of Ethics, Practice and Schedule
Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules
Respect and comply with environmental policy rules
Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which he was hired, when the needs or convenience of the service justify it, for the period necessary for the said needs or conveniences of service
Requirements & Competencies
Academic Background: Bachelor’s or master’s in mechanical, Mechatronics, Biomedical, Materials, Polymers Engineering
Minimum 1 year of experience
Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings and schematics using specified software (ex. Inventor)
Analytical and problem-solving skills (8D, Shainin or Six Sigma training a plus)
Ability to create and read technical drawing
Knowledge in PowerBi
Minitab user is a plus
