Pharmacy Technician

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting our client in hiring a Pharmacy Technician ! This role is in person / onsite in Vestal, NY. Please review the details below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type: Full Time – 5-month contract- with possible extension

Schedule: Flex Schedule (Every Weekend 9:00am–5:30pm; 3 weekdays 8:00am–4:30pm)

Pay: $19-$25/hr. (DOE)

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Floor Technician

  • Fills daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner under pharmacist supervision

  • Picks, labels, and scans medications to prepare finished prescriptions for final verification

  • Assists in processing returned drugs and recycling/disposing per standard procedure

  • Prepacks frequently ordered medications and maintains designated workstation stock

  • Packages materials and products manually, applying labels to blister cards accurately

  • Alerts the Pharmacist on duty of any medication or product scanning issues

  • Maintains HIPAA compliance and upholds strict patient confidentiality

  • Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code

  • Performs other related duties as assigned to support pharmacy flow

Qualifications of the Pharmacy Floor Technician

  • High School diploma or equivalent (Required)

  • Possess and maintain a Clear and Active license (Required, except in NYS)

  • Previous pharmacy technician experience (Preferred)

  • Ability to work at a moderate speed with high attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Finger dexterity to operate equipment and ability to lift up to 25 lbs

  • Ability to stand/walk for 7–10 hours per day

  • Flexibility to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as expected

Pay Details: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour
