Job Title: Quality Assurance Associate
Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level QA Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about quality assurance and are eager to grow within a smaller company where you are not just a number.
Responsibilities
Review QC data, with a focus on raw material approvals by gathering data from the QC department, confirming it in the database, and printing labels to release the materials.
Conduct QC investigations to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
Perform audit trail reviews to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Assist with the management of secondary standards.
Support supplier qualification processes to ensure high-quality materials are sourced.
Provide backup support for the finished product team.
Essential Skills
1-2 years of experience in a GMP environment within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Life Sciences such as Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Microbiology. An Associate's degree is also acceptable.
1-2 years of quality experience, ideally with experience in QC testing.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with database systems used in laboratory settings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is beneficial.
Ability to analyze specifications and determine pass or fail status.
A proactive mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies and ask critical questions.
Strong attention to detail and the capability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
Work Environment
Join a small, close-knit QA team of less than 10 members in an office setting. While there is currently no overtime, the position offers opportunities for advancement within the QA department, including office roles and other QA functions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
