Tecumseh - Verona Maintenance Technician in Verona, Mississippi
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs electrical and mechanical maintenance on old and new machines, plus maintenance of pneumatic & hydraulic systems
Ability to read electrical diagram for troubleshooting
Familiarity with p.m. programs (identify, documentation, procedures)
Able to work in cold or hot conditions while maintaining a safe work environment
Ability to take instruction with a 'can do' attitude, but willing to ask questions as needed
Qualification & Education Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electricity, or HVAC preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Experience -- Relevant or similar experience preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Analytical Skills -- Ability to read a plan and have the mental acuity to discern the proper procedure to follow for each unit.
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work safely, follow all safety rules and lead by example.
- Must be able to maintain good and regular attendance.
- Must be available for mandatory overtime.
Further Requirements:
Knowledge of Control systems
Electrical experience
Ability to weld
Knowledge of different gases for welding/air compressors/cooling systems
Works well with others
