Robert Half Revenue Cycle Manager in Vero Beach, Florida
Description We are looking for an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and optimize the financial operations of our healthcare organization in Vero Beach, Florida. This role involves managing billing processes, payment collections, and accounts receivable while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization and supporting its mission to provide accessible, high-quality care to the community.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective strategies for billing customers and processing payments to ensure timely revenue collection.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable to minimize bad debts and improve overall cash flow.
• Supervise the billing team, providing guidance on patient account management, insurance communications, collections, and contract analysis.
• Oversee payment posting processes and ensure accurate and timely charge posting.
• Identify and resolve revenue cycle issues, collaborating with other departments as necessary.
• Create and analyze financial reports related to billing transactions and revenue performance.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing standards while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Evaluate and enhance billing systems to detect and correct issues, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the billing team through training and performance evaluation.
• Support organizational goals by aligning revenue cycle strategies with broader financial objectives. Requirements
• Associate's degree in a relevant field and coding certification are required.
• Proficiency in medical billing and healthcare revenue cycle processes.
• Experience in managing cash flow and accounts receivable.
• Ability to oversee patient account operations, including collections and insurance communications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve revenue cycle issues.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and guide the billing team.
