JOB TITLE: Job Coach-Summer Youth Work Experience

JOB STATUS: Part-time; Seasonal

PAY: $17.00 per hour

NO TRANSPORTING OF STUDENTS

Are you seeking an opportunity to enhance the lives of youth Ohioans with disabilities?  If so, we offer a challenging and invaluable opportunity for well qualified and exceptionally sincere Summer Employment candidates to provide small group pre-vocational mentoring, coaching and instruction, to eligible program participants, ages 14-21. 

Summer Youth Work Experience Job Coaches- Provide real-world orientation to work and vocational training in small groups, of up to 3 students.  The Job Coach is present at all times during the scheduled 20-hour work weeks. Students are provided the opportunity to learn what is expected of teen workers, who are typically employed in these environments (mostly retail sites). The Job Coach is there to provide support, mentoring and direct coaching to assist the individuals with maximizing their potential.  The students' participation, and their results, would be documented in their Individual Education Plans as well as their Individualized Plan for Employment.

 

WORK SCHEDULE: Job sites will be in western Cuyahoga, Lorain, & Erie Counties.

Session 1: June 8th --July 9th, 2026, Monday-Thursday, 9am-2:30pm 

Session 2: July 13th-August 13th, 2026, Monday-Thursday, 9am-2:30pm

Flexibility with end date can be discussed during the interview process.      

Travel to our office in Vermilion is not required.  Initial training to be provided via MS Teams, in May 2026; ongoing field support is also provided. Job Coaches travel from/to their home and assigned jobsite daily.  Once assigned to a site, that is the work location the coach will report to for the entirety of the session.
